Showcases:
We have two in house showcase performances. Exact dates can be found on our studio calendar.
  • Halloween Showcase: This performance is held at the studio the week before Halloween. Dancers are invited to wear their Halloween costumes to the performance. 1 guest is invited into the classroom to watch. This is a free event. There is no zoom for this event. Parents are permitted to videotape. Performance times will be posted on this page closer to the event.
  •  Summer In December Winter Showcase:  This performance is held at the studio the week before winter recess. Dancers are invited to wear summer and vacation attire to the performance. 1 guest is invited into the classroom to watch. This is a free event. This is a free event. There is no zoom for this event. Parents are permitted to videotape. Performance times will be posted on this page closer to the event.

Important Showcase Information:
  • Guest must check in at the front table before walking into the studio. One guest per dancer. 
  • We have multiple classes performing, to avoid overcrowding, only one guest per dancer is permitted.
  • We have multiple classes performing, to avoid overcrowding, no siblings or strollers permitted.
  • To avoid overcrowding siblings are not permitted to wait in the lobby.
  • Dancers should arrive at their regular scheduled time.
  • Guests should wait outside the studio to be called in. Guests should line up 5 minutes before their performance time; however, the dancer should arrive at their regular class time. 
  • Dancers in only one performance can leave with their guest after their section's performance.
  • Dancers in multiple performances should stay in between performances.
  • Guests with dancers in multiple classes must leave the building in between performances.
  • All guests will exit out the Jerusalem Avenue door.
  • Dancers will have their regular scheduled classes unless otherwise noted.
  • Dancers do NOT have to wear ballet clothes.
  • Don't forget to have the dancers wear themed attire they can dance in comfortably.
  • If your dancer can not attend, please let your teacher know. ​

Competition Dancers:
  • Please review the schedule.
  • ​Dancers should arrive and leave at their regular scheduled time UNLESS their performance falls outside the usual timeframe. 
  • No skills & drills classes this week.
  • Dancers will have their regular scheduled classes unless otherwise noted.
  • Dancers do NOT have to wear ballet clothes.
  • Dancers are permitted to hang out on break and/or watch other class performances.
  • Check the competition performance schedule carefully! Your performance time may fall outside your regular class time. We ask that competition dancers come early or stay late if needed, so we can have a full class performing.
  • We are so excited how our season is starting. Please remember what we are showcasing is just a work in progress, group routines are not expected to be finished until December 1st. Platinum Proud! 
Recital:
  • Date: June 19th, 2027 (Last day of classes June 17th)
    • ​Show A: 11:00am
    • Show B: 1:30pm
    • Show C: 3:30 pm

Recital Shows:
Platinum Performance has multiple recitals, 2 Tiny Dancers Recitals (Show A and B) and one main Recital (Show C). To avoid having to attend multiple recitals, at registration take note what show your selected class has been assigned to, i.e., Recital A, Recital B, Recital C.  Families with dancers in more than one show must purchase tickets for each show. Dancers must purchase the mandatory costume and shoes for each class. Parents and guests must purchase tickets for each Recital. Detailed information will be emailed.

 Costumes: 
  • Students must purchase the mandatory costume, tights, and shoes for each class.
  • When registering before October 1st: Costume payments will automatically be charged to the card on file on October 15th.
  • When registering after October 1st: Costume payment is due with your registration.​
  • Platinum is not responsible for alterations.
  • At no time are costumes refundable.

Costume Sizing:
Dancers will be sized in October. If you have a size request, please speak with the office before October 1st. Once costumes arrive, dancers will try them on in class. Costumes cannot be exchanged once they leave the building. Platinum Performance is not responsible for alterations.
  
Dress Rehearsal:
Recital and Dress Rehearsal are mandatory for all dancers.  Specific class information will be mailed out in May.  Individual pictures are not mandatory.

Zoom Recital:
In the event of extreme weather, emergencies, or government mandated shutdowns there will be no refunds provided for costumes or tuition. Due to the nature of the closure or shutdown the recital may be provided via zoom.

🎟️ Recital Tickets 🎟️
Don’t forget to pick up your recital tickets! The last day to order tickets is **Wednesday, June 10**. After that date, tickets will only be available at the door.

📸 Cell Phone Recording Policy 📸
Please remind all guests that cell phone recording is not permitted in the front half of the auditorium. Guests who wish to record are asked to do so only from the designated recording areas. Thank you for helping us ensure an enjoyable experience for all audience members.

👗 Costumes and Arrival 👗
All dancers should arrive a half hour before showtime, fully dressed in their first costume, wearing the appropriate dance shoes, and ready to perform. Please do not send dance bags or additional personal items backstage.

Parents, please check the Parent Portal to ensure your dancer has all required costume pieces, tights, shoes, and accessories.

Dancers with multiple costumes should make sure all costumes are clearly labeled. When checking in, please inform the backstage assistant if your dancer has a costume change.

🎉 Backstage & Finale Information 🎉
All dancers will remain backstage for the entire performance and will participate in the finale and end of show awards. Dancers who ordered a Finale Shirt will receive it on the day of the show.

💐 Recital Souvenirs 💐
Stop by the studio this week to pre-order recital souvenirs for pickup on recital day. A selection of souvenirs will also be available for purchase on the day of the show.

🗓️ June Classes 🗓️
We will have regularly scheduled classes this week leading up to the recital on June 13th.

We will also have regularly scheduled classes the week after the recital. The last day of classes for the season is June 20th.
